The McGill Human Genetics Students' Society (HGSS) is proud to announce the 2024 edition of our yearly student-organized conference, with the theme "Genomic Medicine for All: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Clinical Practice". This conference focuses on the impacts of translational medicine and research in Quebec and Canada, aiming to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals in the dynamic field of genomics.
In an era where genomic advancements are rapidly transforming healthcare, our conference looks to serve as a platform to explore the latest developments and foster interdisciplinary connections.

The Human Genetics Students' Society (HGSS) exists to provide information for, to encourage communication amongst, to advocate for, and to help forge relationships between graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, medical residents and faculty associated with the McGill University department of Human Genetics. We work to provide support, opportunities, and a host of academic and social events for our students throughout the year.
